Founded with a heart for families and a passion for community, SOCIALsitters 615 was created to solve a real need: helping parents enjoy weddings, conferences, and special events without worrying about who’s watching the kids. With over 20 years of hands-on experience working with children in a wide range of settings, our founder knew firsthand how hard it can be to find trustworthy, professional childcare during important occasions, and decided it was time for a solution.
Our mission is simple: To provide safe, reliable, and engaging on-site childcare that allows parents to be fully present—and kids to have fun, too.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m CeCee.
For more than 20 years, I worked closely with families as a professional nanny and later as a labor and postpartum doula, lactation counselor, newborn care specialist, and childbirth educator. Supporting parents during some of life’s most meaningful seasons shaped my deep understanding of what families truly need: safety, trust, and dependable support.
In 2018, I faced medical challenges that left me with physical disabilities and legal blindness. I had to step away from the hands-on work I loved and focus on rebuilding my health. That season required resilience, adaptability, and vision for what my next chapter could look like.
Around that same time, I kept hearing the same frustration. Friends traveling to Nashville for vacation, conferences, and work obligations struggled to find reliable childcare in an unfamiliar city. Parents were declining wedding invitations because they had no safe options. A close friend planning her wedding wanted guests to bring their children while still having a child-free ceremony. She wanted inclusion without distraction.
I realized there was a gap.
Families were being asked to choose between showing up fully and worrying about their children. Event hosts wanted thoughtful solutions, but professional childcare was rarely built into the plan.
I started SOCIALsitters 615 to change that.
Inspired by Nashville’s spirit of resilience and reinvention, I built a service that allows parents to be present and children to be nearby, safe, engaged, and well cared for. We partner with families, planners, and venues to make weddings, conferences, and special events more inclusive and less stressful for everyone involved.
This business was built from experience, strengthened by resilience, and rooted in the belief that families should never have to choose between celebration and peace of mind.
When I’m not planning event childcare experiences, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, exploring Nashville’s local gems, and continuing to grow in ways that support the families I serve.
