Babysitters FAQ

Q: What qualifications do your babysitters have?
A: Our babysitters are experienced childcare professionals with backgrounds in settings such as schools, churches, camps, and in-home care. All sitters receive training and are certified in CPR and First Aid.

Q: How are babysitters selected?
A: Each sitter goes through a rigorous selection process, including a detailed application, interviews, background checks, and reference checks. We look for reliability, warmth, professionalism, and a genuine love for working with children.

Q: How do babysitters handle emergencies?
A: Our babysitters are trained to respond to emergencies calmly and effectively. They follow clear safety protocols, keep event organizers informed, and will contact parents and emergency services when necessary. All of our babysitters are CPR and First Aid certified, and many have additional training in child safety.

Q: What kind of activities will the babysitter provide?
A: Babysitters engage children in age-appropriate activities such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and group play. While screens are not our first choice for engagement, we can incorporate technology or movies for longer events upon request.

Q: Are your babysitters comfortable with infants?
A: Yes. Many of our babysitters have extensive experience caring for infants, including feeding, changing, soothing, and following specific sleep routines. For quality care, we generally staff one sitter for every three infants.

Q: How do you match a babysitter to my child’s needs?
A: We consider your child’s age, developmental stage, interests, and any special requirements (such as allergies or sensory needs) to match them with the best possible sitter or sitter team for your event.

Q: What happens if the assigned babysitter is unavailable?
A: In the rare event that a sitter becomes unavailable, we will promptly assign a qualified backup sitter. All backup sitters meet the same standards for vetting, training, and certification.

Q: Can the babysitter assist with children with special needs?
A: Yes. We have babysitters with experience and training in caring for children with a variety of special needs. Please share as much information as you can in advance so we can assign the right caregivers and supports.

Q: How can I provide feedback about a babysitter?
A: We love hearing from you. You can share feedback by email or through our contact form. Your input helps us celebrate great work and continue improving our services.
